Kea – New Zealand’s Mountain Parrot

Whilst returning to Queenstown from Milford Sound, on the photography tour with Beth, we came across a beautiful Kea, just before the long Homer Tunnel. Kea are very clever, inquisitive, and are known for pulling wiper blades and seals off from cars in seconds! A couple of European tourists waved us down to see the Kea – they told us they had travelled to New Zealand, just to see one!
