After a night out at the Auckland Lantern Festival, our friends decided to head along to Lake Wainamu for a relaxing afternoon swim and picnic. Formed over the past few thousand years, the lake is formed by a large dune running from Bethells beach to the rolling hill, locking in the water fed from three streams.
