After spending a night in Paihia, we made the trip north towards Kerikeri to witness the Rainbow Falls. Just a few kilometres out of Paihia and Waitangi is the Haruru Falls. Usually rather docile, today it was completely raging from several days of heavy rain. Further downstream, the Waitangi River filters out to the estuary where the Waitangi sunset photos were taken the previous night.
