After reaching Alexandra, and grabbing a quick bite to eat, we drove north-west to Wanaka. We wanted to capture the famous tree, that’s been photographed a million times. The water was a little choppy from the wind, so decided to use the Lee Big Stopper (10 stop filter), to do some long exposures of 20-30 seconds to flatten out the water.
