Buachaille Etive Mòr

Following Jon & Tracy’s wedding at Langshott Manor, we drove to Newcastle to spend a night with another good friend, and press photographer, Adam Gray. We had the intention of shooting Quayside at the River Tyne, however we crashed after a long drive through snowy conditions. Older photos of Newcastle can be viewed here: http://warrenwilliams.co.nz/blog/?p=114

After leaving Newcastle, we drove through the English/Scottish border and headed straight for the beautiful Glencoe region (part of the Highlands). One of the treasured spots is the amazing Buachaille Etive Mòr (the great herdsman of Etive).  Standing 1,022m high, Buchaille stood against the stark snowy landscape. We stayed in Glencoe itself and captured Buachaille Etive Mor in it’s beauty for both sunset and sunrise the following morning.
