Milford Sound Cruise

We arrived into Milford Sound in the mid afternoon, with enough time to catch the final 4:30pm sailing with Mitre Peak Cruises. The skies were clear, which is rare, for an area that has 7 metres of rainfall each year! The water was choppy from the strong winds. Only the two permanent waterfalls – Bowen Falls & Stirling Falls had a solid stream of water.
