Peregrine Wines & Gibbston Valley

We took an afternoon drive out to Cromwell, Clyde & Alexandra, getting ideas of where we could potentially move to in 2014. On the way through, we stopped by the amazing Peregrine Wines and met with their lovely wedding planner – Kate. We have a wedding booked next February at Peregrine Wines, and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to location scout, and introduce us to Peregrine. There’s a rustic woolshed available for ceremonies, plus the roof of the main building is pretty incredible too. We can’t wait to shoot here!

Arriving into Clyde, the town is becoming quite a popular tourist destination. Clyde is the start of the Otago Rail Trail (something, we would love to do in the next couple of years). The bridge featured below, was opened in 1934 and links Clyde to Earnscleugh. The Clutha River looks great, and would be stunning during autumn as the colours change. We skipped some stones, before driving onwards to Wanaka.
