Alana & Mike were wed on beautiful Waiheke Island. The venue of Chardy Ridge, had amazing views across the beaches below and across the Hauraki Gulf. Alana & Mike chose the perfect day, featuring stunning blue skies, and comfortable summer heat. This was one of our best weddings ever, as everything was kept very casual. We ventured to the nearby Rocky Bay for bridal photos, and found a perfect wharf for shooting some intimate moments. We were invited along for an amazing dinner served by Chardy Ridge, and decided to shoot a time lapse sunset back across to Auckland City. Much of Alana’s family made the long trip over from Ireland, including the bridesmaids. Thank you Alana & Mike for a wonderful day. 🙂
Finally a little mention for Irene Armstrong, who was the wonderful celebrant of the day. We loved her so much, we’ve booked her for our own wedding in Waitakere on February 29, 2012.
