We have made several trips to Piha over January for evening runs along the beach, but usually without the camera gear. This time we decided to take a walk along the Tasman Lookout Track and watch “The Gap”. Along the walkway, we saw many Pohutukawa still in full bloom. Such a beautiful sight. We finished the evening, getting a little closer to the Gap, with the powerful waves crashing through. We both shot some lower shutter speeds to emphasise the movement of the water.
